Candidate Information

Kristin Combs
I am a bit of a bylaws dork and am excited for the opportunity to reinvigorate this vital committee. About four years ago, I led the charge to revise the
Green Party of PA bylaws and am still one of our resident rules experts. During my year on the Steering Committee and while serving as a Credentials Co-Chair
for this year's PNC, I've become very familiar with our national rules. I have lots of thoughts about how they can be improved, but any updates need to
be a group effort.
If elected, I would like to begin with the following steps:
list of 4 items
• Start monthly conference calls.
• Do an audit of our bylaws and rules as they stand now.
list of 3 items nesting level 1
◦ Are all NC proposals reflected in the most recent online version?
◦ Are the bylaws and rules internally consistent?
◦ Are there any glaring problems?
list end nesting level 1
• Check in with all committees and caucuses to ensure their rules are up-to-date.
• Advertise to the NC, committees, and caucuses that we are functional and ready to consult on potential rules changes.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to chat!
