Background

Whereas, the Committee on Bylaws, Rules, Policies and Procedures has
just completed an election under rules which prohibit write-ins and in
which a single candidate was unopposed for a single seat and was ranked
as the first preference on ten ballots cast by committee members from
nine state parties and one caucus.

Proposal

Resolved, that it is the finding of the Committee on Bylaws, Rules,
Policies and Procedures that the use of an Election Tabulation
Committee to review the results and offer a report for the
certification of an uncontested race is superfluous, and that the rules
of the Party ought to be amended to make an exception to the
requirement that such a process be utilized under such circumstances.

Resolved, that without objection, the Committee on Bylaws, Rules,
Policies and Procedures here suspends the rule requiring the
appointment of an Election Tabulation Committee for this uncontested
election to fill the vacant cochair seat for the committee.

Resolved, that the results reported for the 2019 committee cochair
election, accessible at the link above are accepted, and Charles
Sherrouse of the Green Party of Pennsylvania is certified as having won
this election and shall serve pursuant to its rules, a two year term as
co-chair of the Committee on Bylaws, Rules, Policies and Procedures.
