About Me

Cassiday Moriarity joined the Green Party in June of 2020, transitioning after the failure of any candidate to represent any progressive policies at the local, state, or national level. Cassiday graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs.

In the past five years, she has stepped up at the local level, state level, and national levels filling roles and building the party. She is the acting communications director for the Indiana Green Party, current Treasurer for YES, and members of several committees for the Green Party including Fundraising, Green Pages, & Finance. My focus has always been on strengthening the organization through dependable systems, collaboration, and long-term planning.

Which of the Green Party’s four pillars or Ten Key Values are you most passionate about?

Future Focus and Sustainability

Why Me?

Finances are what I do for fun, I spend HOURS of my time looking at my personal finances, building dashboards, recording videos going over them for a personal project, forecasting future projections, etc. I enjoy turning complex financial information into organized, understandable reports that support better decision-making.

Professionally, I work in procurement managing supplier relationships and purchase activity totaling millions of dollars annually. I build out systems, organizational elements, and document everything needed in my role.

Within the Green Party, I didn't wait to be asked to contribute. I joined the Finance Committee because I wanted to help improve our financial operations and support the party wherever I could. I would like to continue doing this work, with your support to bring a level of transparency and accountability that has been gone for quite some time.

Thank you for your time,
Chair - Green Pages

Treasurer - Young Ecosocialist Caucus

of the Indiana Green Party

Philena Farley, Green Party of Ohio
Philena Farley accepts this nomination with the same conviction that has carried her through years of service to the Green Party: that transparency and follow-through are not optional, they are the foundation of a party that claims grassroots democracy as a core value.

She brings 15+ years of experience in tech support, account maintenance, and operations, work that has consistently required budgeting awareness, cost control, reporting accuracy, and problem-solving under pressure. Within the party, she has served as Ohio Delegate, Ohio Co-Chair, and Webmaster. Following recent elections in early 2026, she now serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the National Black Caucus, a role that has already put her budgeting and reporting skills directly to work at the national level.

Her financial and electoral experience runs on both sides of the ballot. She ran for U.S. Senate in Ohio in 2018, and that same year served as Campaign Treasurer for Constance Gadell-Newton's run for Ohio Governor, giving her firsthand exposure to the compliance expectations and reporting responsibilities this role carries, as both a candidate managing her own filings and a treasurer managing another campaign's books.

That combination of experience comes from the same place: a refusal to let procedural friction, internal disputes, or discouragement stand in for actual accountability.

If elected, she is committed to using a CRM correctly, answering questions clearly, maintaining accountability, and supporting the Steering and National Committees with accessible financial information. She supports open-source tools and transparent systems that reduce dependency on costly proprietary software while strengthening trust and participation across the party.

Alex McMenemy, Green Party of Texas
Hello Green Party National Committee. My name is Alex McMenemy and I am running for GPUS Treasurer. I am happy to be considered for it and grateful to all the people that have asked me to run.
To get into my background with finance, I went to college for accounting and I have worked as a bookkeeper for several organizations and small businesses. I have had a passion for number-crunching throughout my career and would love to continue that passion into this Treasurer position.
As Treasurer, I would strive for more clarity on budgetary decisions as well as to set up clear guidelines for the Treasurers that come after. I commit to making monthly Treasurer’s reports as well as being available for anyone that needs me as I believe that patient communication is a key to a good Treasury, so that everyone is on the same page and we can work together as a strong political force!
I am excited to continue the great work that the Green Party does and hope to help as much as I can towards that effort. Thank you for your time and your consideration.

Best,
Alex McMenemy
