Background

On June 9, 2026, an appeal of the Steering Committee’s decision to add proposal #1297 to the voting queue was filed and properly cosponsored by delegates of the YES, TX, CA, MI and the LC.

Details of the appeal can be found in the references.

Proposal

The body (National Committee) shall sustain the appeal from the decision of the Steering Committee to add proposal#1297 to the voting queue.

A YES vote is in support of this appeal that Proposal #1297 was placed in the queue improperly and should be withdrawn.

A NO vote finds no impropriety and that the proposal should proceed.
