Background

This proposal makes formatting and language corrections to Article VIII. The substantive convention authority and proposal restrictions are unchanged.

Changes include: (1) capitalizing the full Article title to "PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION" for consistency with other Article headers; (2) standardizing decimal notation to hyphen format: 8.1 → 8-1 and 8.2 → 8-2, consistent with all other Articles; (3) removing the phrase "delegated decision-making body" as redundant with the Rules of the Presidential Nominating Convention; (4) replacing "shall be as established" with "is outlined" for plain-language consistency throughout; (5) hyphenating "vice-presidential" for consistency with Article II, Section 2-2.4; and (6) correcting minor punctuation, including removing the redundant semicolon in 8-2 and replacing "; and not proposed by" with "and cannot be proposed by" for clarity.
