Background

Henry Pratt's Written Declaration of GPUS Finance Committee Interest

Dear GPUS Steering Committee,

Pursuant to the requirements of Article III, Section 3-3.2 of the Fiscal Policy of the Green Party of the United States (GPUS), I am declaring my interest in serving on the Finance Committee. Please put my Bio statement and nomination before the National Committee for their approval.

Henry Pratt: GPUS Finance Committee Bio
Henry Pratt is an active member of the YES Caucus and the Green Party of New York, Co-Chair of the
BRPP Committee, a former National Committee Delegate, and a well-known voice within the national party on financial resilience and ethics.

Henry has a long background in operational leadership, beginning with an entrepreneurial journey at a young age. While in middle school, he helped his classmate launch a photojournalism outlet and later became a credentialed member of the State of Maryland Press Corps, attending multiple White House Press Briefings as part of the Out-of-Town Press Pool. Today, Henry is a part of a Singaporean biodiversity tech startup, where he has helped create their staffing infrastructure, and translated financial information (in the millions) into projections, and investment pitches.

As a political consultant, Henry has managed campaign budgets exceeding $200,000 and drafted dozens and dozens of budgets for candidates, finding the most cost-effective vendors and negotiating rates for mailing, text, Meta ads, and other standard campaign tactics. As a former manager of staff, Henry is also familiar with timesheets, payroll, and operational coding for c3 and c4 compliance. He currently works with grants as a board member of a 501(c)3 environmental direct-action nonprofit.

Henry’s enthusiasm for working on GPUS financials, can be explored further in his (perhaps overly
thorough) written Steering Committee Forum answer on the topic. He is proficient with HR software such as ADP, Excel, Gusto, and Ramp.
