Background

PRESENTER: GPUS Annual National Meeting Committee

CONTACT: Ruth Weill, moondog@execpc.com, 414-350-2107

FLOOR MANAGER: Steve Kramer

SUBJECT: Hosting of the 2006 Annual National Meeting

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE:

In October of 2005, the Annual National Meeting Committee requested
proposals for hosting the 2006 annual meeting. The request for
proposals included a deadline of October 30, 2005 for states to issue
letters of intent, and December 15, 2005 for states to submit final
proposals. Two states (Arizona and Washington) submitted letters of
intent and final proposals, but the Washington proposal was withdrawn
because the facilities were no longer available.. The Annual National
Meeting Committee now has one proposal for the hosting of the 2006
Annual National Meeting and is pleased to forward it for
consideration.

This proposal is being put forth in two (2) separate questions, to
accommodate two possible dates for the meeting; July 6-9 and July
27-30. Delegates can rank their choices between the two date options
in Tucson and ‘none-of-the-above’.
