Background

According to GPUS Rules and Procedures, 7. Preference Voting Rules for SC Elections (adopted 6/19/06 in Proposal #222 - Resolution to Amend the Rules and Procedures on Steering Committee Elections Policy), the Green National Committee needs to elect 5 GNC delegates for an Elections Tabulation Committee to tabulate the SC election. At this time, we have 4 nominees. Until 48 hour before voting starts any additional nominees will be added to the candidate list.

B. TABULATION OF VOTES

Two months before each Annual National Meeting ..., the Secretary of GPUS shall post to the GNC a request for nominations for an Election Tabulation Committee. The Election Tabulation Committee will consist of five members of the GNC and will be elected by the NC using the current system of Single Transferable Voting employed by the Green Party website: Multi-Seat Ranked-Choice Voting http://lobitos.net/voting/
