Background

The Diversity Committee, Accreditations Committee, and Steering
Committee of the Green Party of the United States recommend that
the National Womens Caucus of the GPUS be immediately and fully
accredited by the Coordinating Committee of the Green Party of
the United States.

This recommendation is based upon the separate work of these
three committees, as detailed in the linked report on the
process surrounding the handling of the accreditation request
package submitted by the National Womens Caucus.

This recommendation is also based upon the National Womens
Caucus agreement and commitment to fully address and resolve
within 90 days of accreditation all concerns listed in the
linked report of the GPUS Accreditation Committee with
regards to the current bylaws and rules of the National
Womens Caucus.

The Accreditations Committee will issue a report (or reports)
to the GPUS Coordinating Committee on the execution and
compliance of the National Womens Caucus with this commitment,
as appropriate.

Proposal

Be it resolved that,

The Coordinating Committee of the Green Party of the United States
accepts the recommendation of its Steering Committee, Diversity
Committee, and Accreditations Committee that the National Womens
Caucus of the Green Party of the United States be immediately and
fully accredited and granted all the rights, responsibilities,
and privileges of an accredited caucus of the Green Party of the
United States.

This action is based upon the commitment of the National Womens
Caucus, as agreed to by the NWC on 31 Oct 2004, to address and
resolve within 90 days of accreditation all of the concerns
listed in the linked report of the Accreditation Committee
with regards to the current bylaws and rules of the National
Womens Caucus.

The Accreditations Committee shall issue a report (or reports) to
the GPUS Coordinating Committee on the execution and compliance of
the National Womens Caucus with regards to this commitment, as
appropriate.
