Background

It has been determined by the presenters
that upon receipt of proposals from the
various GPUS committees, caucus and
networks and upon receiving the approval
by the presenters of these proposals
the GPUS Treasurer is authorized to
disperse funds as allocated in the
2005 budget Tier 1.

Proposal

The GPUS National Committee authorizes
the release of the 2005 Budget/ Committee
Allocations Tier 1 totaling $8700. As
contained in the approved 2005 budget all
committees and caucuses listed below (in
the Tiers) will need to provide the Finance
Committee and Fundraising Committee with
proposals for funding who in turn will
submit recommendations to the Steering
Committee. At a minimum the committee,
caucuses and network shall in their proposal
(s) provide information on the timing of
funding, the amounts and details of the
expenditure, whether it a full or partial
request and contact information for
coordination of the expeditures between
GPUS treasurer and committees, caucuses
and network.
