Background

Proposal 175 was adopted on October 9, 2005 by the National Committee.

Section IIA states:

II. Committee Structure

A. Voting Membership. The internal committee shall consist of 8 members
chosen from among the NC delegation.

In the time since the proposal passed, only seven people have expressed
interest in serving on the committee, and not all are National Committee
members. Because this committee is elected by the National Committee, it is
not necessary that all members also are members of the National Committee.

Proposal

Change the first sentence of section II.A. to state:

A. Voting Membership. The internal committee shall consist of 8 members
chosen from among the NC delegates, or from any Green Party member who is
nominated or vetted by their state party.
