Background

Proposal 175 was adopted on October 9, 2005 by the National Committee.

Section II.B. states:

The members of the Internal Committee shall be elected by the NC using
Meek's method of Single Transferable Voting.

However, the voting system installed on the Green Party website is not
capable of counting votes using the Meek's method of Single Transferable
Voting. Reprogramming the website to use Meek's method would result in an
extensive delay.

Proposal

Change the first sentence of section II.B. to state:

The members of the Internal Committee shall be elected by the NC using the
current system of Single Transferable Voting employed by the Green Party
website: Multi-Seat Ranked-Choice Voting http://lobitos.net/voting/
