The National Committee Listserv Protocol for Delegates' Discussion and Votes Lists (Proposal #186) was adopted by the GPUS National Committee on November 13, 2005.

Esther Choi, Green Party of Texas; Jim Weill, Green Party of California; Kai Schwandes, Green Party of North Carolina; and Jane Hunter, Green Party of New Jersey, have volunteered their services in this capacity, and have been approved by the GPUS Steering Committee. They have agreed that Jim Weill, Kai Schwandes and Esther Choi will serve as Forum Managers, and Jane Hunter will be the Alternate.

Although bios have not been included in previous Forum manager approval votes, it was thought delegates might like to know a little about each of the volunteers, so bios are provided for each:

I have been active with the Greens in some capacity since 2000. At
that time I helped a little on Ralph Nader's campaign as well as being
one of the original members of the recreation of the Milwaukee Green
Party. I spent some time with the Milwaukee and Wisconsin Green
Parties from 2000-2005. Through 2004 I helped coordinate the
technology for the Nominating Convention by getting an internet T1 for
the convention office, finding computers and printers for the office,
and setting them up so that they could share their resources. Since
2004 I have been an observer to the GPUS discussion listserv,
although my participation has increased much more in recent months.
I am a moderator on, a site about keeping aquariums,
so I am not a stranger to moderating internet forums. I've been a
moderator there since about 2005.

The GPUS National Committee approvesJim Weill as Forum Manager, to serve for the 2008-2010 term.

IV. Forum Managers and Enforcement
A. The Steering Committee shall nominate three individuals, subject to
National Committee approval, to serve coincident two-year terms as
Forum Managers and one individual subject to National Committee

other vacancy, the Alternate will serve the remainder of the term as a
Forum Manager. In addition the SC shall nominate a replacement to fill
the role of Alternate, to be approved by the NC via the same method
used to nominate and elect the Forum Manager. The replacement
Alternate Forum Manager will fill the balance of the term as Alternate.
