Background

On July 8th, 2008, the National Committee approved of Proposal #361,
establishing Floor Rules for the Presidential Nominating Convention.
On July 11th, the National Committee approved an amendment to #361 in
Chicago the day before the Convention.

There are four spelling errors and five numbering/punctuation errors
in the text approved by the National Committee on these two dates.
This proposal is a 'clean up' measure to correct these errors.

Proposal

That the Floor Rules of the Presidential Convention be amended
with the following spelling, numbering and punctuation changes:

1) In sub-paragraph 5-6.2(a), the word 'credentialed' was incorrectly
spelled as 'credentialled' and would be corrected.

2) In sub-paragraph 5-6.2(a)(1), the word 'pursuant' was incorrectly
spelled as 'pusuant' and would be corrected.

3) In 5-12.1, the term 'Co-Chairs' was incorrectly written as
'CoChairs', even though it is written as 'Co-Chairs in the remainder of
the document. This punctuation error would be corrected.

4) In 5-12.1, the word 'inconsistency' was incorrectly written as
'inconsistentency'. This spelling error would be corrected.

5) In 5-12.2, the term 'officer's' was incorrectly written as
'officers's'. This punctuation error would be corrected.

6) In Section 5-3, there were two sub-Sections numbered 5-3.3. For this
reason, the second of the two would be renumbered 5-3.4

7) In Article I, each Section numbering included a period after it, as
per 'Section 1-1.', whereas all the remaining sections in the Convention
Rules do not have a period after the Section number. For this reason the
periods would be removed from 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4 and 1-5

8) In Sub-Section 1-4, the numbering was 1-1.4.1 instead of 1-1.4(a),
the later of which is the standard format for the remainder of the
Convention Rules. For this reason, 1-1.4 would be re-numbered in this
manner for consistency with the rest of the document.

9) In Article V, all of the numbering following the format of 5-1-1,
instead of 5-1.1, which is the standard for the remainder of the
Convention Rules. For this reason, the numbering for each Section and
sub-section would be changed to the correct format.
