Background

On October 2, 2010, One Nation Working Together will march and rally for "Jobs, Justice and Education" in Washington, DC. The peace/anti-war movements are taking part in this historic effort along with the NAACP, AFL-CIO, National Council of La Raza, Green for All and many more national
organizations.

GPUS has been invited to endorse and participate in this historic mobilization. Theresa El-Amin, SC co-chair, requested the SC present a proposal after participating on the first national Peace Table organizing conference call on August 17th to build the peace and anti-war component of One Nation.

This is an opportunity for the GPUS to be part of a coalition of major organizations and to work with some of the most important anti-war and social justice organizations and activists in the US.
