I entered the US Green Party in 2000 (then ASGP) and joined its International Committee soon after its inception. At the National Committee I have been a national delegate for states of MD and VA. At the International Committee I was elected as a delegate to the Global Green Network.

I have participated in several International Committee and Global Greens workshops at different Annual National Meetings of USGP throughout the years.

I attended the following international conferences:

6. Food Sovereignty study tour of Venezuela in July 2011.

Languages: Besides my native Persian and English, I have training in
Russian, Spanish, German and French.
