Background

Johnson County (Iowa City, nearby) strongly supports this proposal and notes the city's convenience and low-cost meeting space, lodging and meals (except for airfare). Members have said they are interested in helping out in the ways host parties usually help out - acting as hosts, guides, registration, logistics, errands, drivers if needed. We would like to highlight the *policy* aspect of Green Politics as a means of external outreach and interconnection among Greens and others with expertise in various policy areas; and with more internal focus on election issues in battleground states, post-Stein/Honkala campaign review, campaign school, and whatever other Green Party-specific items attendees would like to have on the agenda.

Proposal
