Background

One of the Ten Key Values of the Green Party of the United States (GPUS) is Grassroots Democracy, which states in part: “Every human being deserves a say in the decisions that affect his or her life and should not be subject to the will of another. ....” However, the GPUS in our platform chooses to design an imposed solution for peoples and nations in the Middle East. The GPUS lacks jurisdiction to impose a solution on Israel and Palestine. In addition, with numerous situations of equal importance around the world in foreign policy, the GPUS makes comment on one particular challenge.

Proposal

Amend I. DEMOCRACY, D. Foreign Policy 2. A Real Road to Peace in the Middle East

Delete subsection 2. A Real Road to Peace in the Middle East in its entirety.
