Background

More than five members of the National Committee have objected to the decision of the Steering Committee to place Proposition 807 in the voting queue. They appeal this decision according to GPUS Rules & Procedures 6-10: http://gpus.org/rules-procedures/#06.

A YES vote is in support of this appeal that Prop 807 was placed in the queue improperly and should be withdrawn.

A NO vote finds no impropriety and that 807 should proceed.

Discussion is 24 hours; voting is 72 hours.

Proposal

The GPUS National Committee appeals the decision of the Steering Committee to place Proposition 807, Creation of Animal Rights Committee, into the voting queue and asserts that this decision was not made according to the rules for proposals.
