Background

In 2010, item (v) became obsolete, as the Obama administration lifted the ban on visitation and immigration by HIV+ individuals. It reflects badly on the party that we have not updated our
platform to reflect this in the subsequent three election cycles.

Proposal

Delete plank "v" (final bullet point) under the AIDS/HIV section
which currently reads as below:

GP-US PLATFORM
II. Social Justice
F. Health Care
2. AIDS/HIV
v. Lifting the ban prohibiting HIV positive people from entering the U.S.
as visitors or as immigrants.
